Effect of Social Media

As I have noticed, most of the people are attached with social media now a days right?
Because social media has many use and because of the so called "uso" or in english the "trend". That's why people are using it particularly the teens like me or the "Millenials".
There are types of social media, like social network wherein user are able to and free to post what they are wanted to say or post through this social media. Example of this is Facebook, which is one of the most popular social media using by the people to connect of course with people all over the world.
Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and Tumblr are some examples of social media.

What is the effect or impact of using social media?
Sometimes using social media has good effect, because through social media you were able to see what is happening in your surroundings. And you will be updated to what is happening.
But sometimes using social media has bad or negative effect too. Just for example, you read about a news and shared it without knowing and confirming it if it is true. And the people who read it or saw it will react but they don't know that, that was not true.
Or sometimes you post about someone, you posted a bad photo of that person and that caught the atention of the users and make fun of  it. This can hurt the person's feelings, so be smart using social media. As they always saying "THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK".
